Conquering Emotional Eating
1. Be aware of how you are feeling – Stop, think and allow yourself to feel it.
2. Realize that thoughts and feelings will pass if you let them. The let them go!
3. Know your triggers and choose to remove them from your life – negative people, places, events and situations – you choose
4. Try to have a positive perspective on the situation – you always find what you are looking for – so why not look for the best possible result!
5. Work on your belief system and you self esteem – before you believe something negative make sure you have solid proof!
6. Have a list of alternatives to choose from when you are feeling down – to soothe and comfort you ~~~ bath & candles, a snuggly blanket, a hug, phone a friend, herbal tea, essential oils to relax ( lavender, bergamot), slow breathing, acupressure points for the emotions that you learned, walk, computer game, healing hot stone therapy, calming music, do a craft, dance etc…..
Have your meridians re balanced to help with those emotional triggers to eat!
